Grand Knight Report for February

Why did you join the Knights of Columbus?  Was it because your father was a member?  Was it because someone you know asked you join?  Maybe it was the benefits that come with membership?  Maybe it was the opportunity to belong to an organization that gives back to the church, the local community and helps those who aren’t able to help themselves?  For me, it was a way to get to know more people at church, to feel like this is somewhere I belong, a place to donate my time.

Whatever your reason; we could sure use your time, your hands, your ideas and your sense of humor. To have a thriving council we need to infuse new ideas, new hands and new voices. We meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 at Risen Savior, in Burnsville.  We normally have about twenty people at our meetings, I would like to see thirty new faces at our March, 9th meeting.  If you would like to volunteer your time choose from our activities list.  This Newsletter lists those that are coming up and our web page: www.kcapplevalley.org, will show a complete list of events. If you have questions, please feel free to call on me or any of the other officers of the council.  I look forward to seeing you on March, 9th.

Paul Holm,

Grand Knight
